OHIO

Stachowski Farm, OH welcomes Caitlin Brannon as the instructor for our new riding lesson program; Stachowski Farm Riding Academy. Caitlin is a recent Cum Laude graduate of Kent State University with her Bachelor of Business Administration. Caitlin grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with both Arabians and American Saddlebreds in her family and has been heavily involved within the Saddlebred Industry since her juvenile years. She has experience in saddle seat, hunt seat, equitation and some western. Caitlin’s accolades include several National Championships and the inaugural Hunter Pleasure World Championship.

While at Kent State University, she was a member of the KSU Western Equestrian Team, where she expanded her knowledge to a new discipline and breed. She also volunteered and taught classes at Riding for the Handicap of Western Pennsylvania for 10 years, helping children with disabilities learn the love of horseback riding. Her love for horses and teaching brought Caitlin to Stachowski Farm as an instructor. She shares how rewarding it is getting to share wonderful horses with others and getting to see them fall in love with both the horses and the sport simultaneously.

CALIFORNIA

Our lesson program at our San Marcos, CA division is run by Stephanie Davisson. Stephanie has been riding since before she could walk, and teaching lessons for over 20 years. She grew up riding both Arabians and Saddlebreds at all levels under the likes of Nancy Becker, Mike Miller, Lisa Jo White, and Chuck Siemon. Stephanie started teaching riding lessons at the age of 13 under the tutelage of Bonnie Kittredge.

After a successful Youth career competing in all the Saddleseat disciplines, she attended the University of Kentucky to study Equine Science and Management where she interned at top Veterinary Hospitals, Grain Labs, and with top tier Saddlebred farms. In 2011 she graduated with a degree in Equine Science and Management with specialties in both Spanish and Agricultural Economics. Post graduation Stephanie moved to Washington State to work with Mike Lamb of Lamb Show Horses. There she trained National Champions and taught riders of all ages and skill levels.

After leaving Washington, Stephanie moved to Minnesota to revamp the lesson program at Cedar Ridge Arabians. While there for nearly a decade, her role evolved from lesson instructor to farm manager, and everything in between. In her history in the horse industry Stephanie has experienced almost every aspect. Here at Stachowski West, she is looking forward to starting a lesson program, to continue to help grow the Arabian Breed, and putting winning combinations in the ring at all levels, from academy shows to Nationals.
